HA-LU Corporation Privacy Policy
HA-LU Inc. (“HA-LU”) has established the following privacy policy (“Policy”) regarding the personal information of customers handled in the course of HA-LU's content production and business operations. The following privacy policy (hereinafter referred to as the “Policy”) is set forth below.

Article 1: Method of obtaining personal information

Article 2: Purpose of Use

Personal information of unsuccessful applicants will be retained for a certain period of time after the selection process is completed, and then disposed of appropriately.
4. Business partner information
Selection of business partners, etc., contract procedures, management of business partners, etc., and performance of related tasks

Article 3: Security Control Measures
We will endeavor to keep your personal data accurate and up-to-date, and will take necessary and appropriate security control measures to protect it from unauthorized access, alteration, leakage, loss, or damage.
Article 4: Provision to Third Parties
Personal data handled by the Company shall not be provided to any third party (including parties located outside of Japan) without the prior consent of the customer. However, this excludes the following cases:
When entrusting the handling of personal data to a third party within the scope necessary to achieve the purpose of use
When personal data is provided as a result of the succession of business due to merger or other reasons
When cooperating with a national agency, a local government, or an individual or entity entrusted by either a national agency or local government to perform duties as prescribed by law
When permitted by law.
Article 5: Outsourcing
In order to provide this service, we may outsource our services to a third party, to which we may provide some or all of the personal data we hold. In such cases, we will appropriately manage and supervise the third party to ensure that they take appropriate security control measures for personal information.
Article 6: Disclosure of Personal Data
When a customer requests disclosure of personal data in accordance with the provisions of the Personal Information Protection Law, we will disclose the personal data without delay after confirming that the request is made by the customer himself/herself (if the relevant personal data does not exist, we will notify the customer to that effect). However, this does not apply in cases where we are not obligated to disclose the personal data under the Personal Information Protection Law or other laws and regulations, where we do not cooperate with a necessary investigation, or where we cannot confirm that the request is made by the customer himself/herself. Please note that a fee (1,000 yen per request) will be charged for the disclosure of personal data.
Article 7: Correction and Suspension of Use of Personal Data
If a customer requests correction of his/her personal data on the grounds that it is untrue, in accordance with the provisions of the Personal Information Protection Law, the Company shall, after confirming that the request is made by the customer himself/herself, conduct the necessary investigation without delay, correct the content of the personal data based on the results of the investigation, and notify the customer to that effect.
2. Suspension of Use
If we receive a request from a customer to stop the use of personal information in accordance with the provisions of the Personal Information Protection Law on the grounds that the personal information is handled in a manner that exceeds the scope of the purpose of use that has been publicly announced in advance or that the personal information was obtained through deception or other wrongful means, we will, after confirming that the request is from the customer himself/herself, stop the use of the personal information without delay.
3. Deletion of Personal Data
If a customer requests erasure of the customer's personal data, and we deem it necessary to comply with the request, we will erase the personal data after confirming that the request is made by the customer himself/herself, and notify the customer to that effect.

Article 9: Procedures for Changing the Privacy Policy
We will change this policy as necessary. However, in the event that the Company modifies this Policy in such a way that the consent of the customer is required by law, the modified Policy shall apply only to those customers who have consented to the modification in the manner prescribed by the Company.
In the event that the Company changes this Policy, the Company shall make the revised Policy effective date and content known to customers by displaying the revised Policy on the Company's website or by other appropriate means, or shall notify customers of the revised Policy.
